Personal wellness is the ongoing practice of tending to your whole self, mind, body, and emotions, so you can live with more ease, resilience, and connection. It looks different for everyone. For some, it means building emotional resilience or strengthening boundaries. For others, it might be moving your body in healthier ways, reducing stress, or letting go of old beliefs that no longer serve you. At its heart, it is about what helps you feel whole and well.
Every session is tailored to you. We might explore mindfulness practices, gentle movement, breathwork, or somatic techniques that help you understand and work with your nervous system. What you can expect in every single session is a safe space to show up exactly as you are, where every part of you is welcomed, nurtured, and safe, free from judgement. You will be met with authenticity, deep care, and unwavering support. This is a place where you can feel seen, heard, and valued, with someone in your corner as your advocate, your cheerleader, and your guide. Mindfulness is the skill of paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, without judgement. It helps you notice your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations with curiosity rather than criticism, making it easier to respond instead of react. It is the practise of turning the elusive present moment, into a generous present moment, allowing you to see what may be beneath the surface of your habitual thoughts, patterns and belief systems.
Somatic therapy works with the wisdom of the body to help release stress, tension, and old patterns that can keep you feeling stuck. It is based on the understanding that the body often holds experiences our minds cannot fully process. In personal wellness, somatic work complements mindfulness, and dialogue work, giving you both awareness and practical ways to shift how you feel.
While this work can feel deeply therapeutic, I am not a licensed psychotherapist. My approach is grounded in psycho somatic principles, supporting clients in exploring their inner world and the way they relate to themselves and others. This work is inspired by therapeutic models but offered through the lens of coaching, somatic exploration, and holistic support.
Anyone who wants to feel more grounded, less reactive, and more connected to themselves. It can be especially helpful if you experience stress, anxiety, burnout, or a sense of being stuck in old habits or emotional loops. I am actually yet to meet anyone who could not garner deep benefit from mindfulness or somatic therapy. Still, there are moments when pausing to notice the present is not what the nervous system needs most. In the middle of deep anxiety, for example, we might begin instead with grounding practices or gentle breathwork to help bring you back to safety. Or to talk our the situation to help your mind make sense of a situation. In this way, every person can benefit from these approaches, yet each moment calls for its own kind of care.
These sessions are not covered under extended health benefits, as I am not a licensed therapist. Some clients have been able to use professional development or wellness budgets, especially if their employer values holistic well being. For business owners, this work can often be considered professional development, as we focus on regulating emotions and building skills that support both personal and professional life.
You do not need to have any experience. In truth, wellness is not something we start on, it is something we return to. Wellness is already within you, it is your body’s natural state. Our work together will be about exploring what has moved you away from your natural state of wellness, and what could guide you back, using simple and accessible practices at a pace that feels right for you.
